An exciting new golden variety of Colorado Spruce that we have been evaluating since 2005. Discovered at Western Evergreen as a seedling selection. Color is a rich golden yellow year round, except for several weeks in the spring when the new growth is a light green until slowly fading to a vibrant gold. The contrast between the new green growth and the older yellow growth is amazing. An intermediate grower with a full, compact pyramidal shape. Previous provisional name was [Winter Gold]
